The Mid-South Transplant Foundation (MSTF) is one of 55 federally funded Organ Procurement Organizations, playing a vital role in saving lives by facilitating organ donations. Beyond their core mission of organ recovery, they connect with donor families, recipients, and the community to raise awareness about the life-saving impact of organ donation. Their mission is deeply human: inspire action, educate the public, and ultimately save lives.
When MSTF approached me to redesign their website, the challenge wasn’t just functional—it was emotional. The site had to be a resource for information and tools while inspiring hope and action. It needed to feel vibrant, uplifting, and accessible, reflecting the life-affirming spirit of organ donation.
This project meant a lot to me. Knowing my work could support such a vital mission was incredibly fulfilling. I leaned into the symbolic blue and green colors of the organ donation community, weaving them throughout a design that feels both lively and compassionate. Features like a pulsing "Register as a Donor" button, an interactive organ education tool, and the "Stories of Hope" section personalize the cause, connecting visitors to the real lives touched by organ donation.
The site also includes dynamic elements like an impact counter to track lives saved, MSTF's podcast hub, and an intuitive menu for accessing resources. Seeing this project come to life was rewarding—knowing it contributes to such meaningful work makes an unforgettable project. I designed this website in 2023 while I was Co-Founder of LAB Digital Creative, before beginning an independent design practice in early 2025.
